Lapel Pin Options
Plating Options
Standard plating options are Gold, Silver, Nickel, Copper and Black Nickel offered at no extra charge. Alternative finishing options are Antique Gold, Antique Silver, Antique Copper or Antique Bronze.
Lapel Pin Attachments
The standard pin attachment is the military or butterfly clutch (pinch/pull). Additional upgrades include, tie tac, rubber clutch, magnetic back or safety pin.
Packaging Options
Packaging options include velvet bags, plastic jewel cases, printed cards or a more elegant velvet jewel cases. These packaging options protect your custom lapel pin and increase the perceived value.
The Production Process
A die is made with your custom design. It is then strike in to a copper or brass base metal. If any metal in the background is exposed as indicated in your pin design, those areas are then sandblasted or textured. The enamel colors are then added to the recessed areas based on your custom pin design. The pins are baked at 350 degrees. The raised surface is then polished. A clear epoxy coating is then applied to the top of the pin if so desired.
